Working Hours & compoff
Purpose
To ensure all employees are available on time for work during the working hours.
Scope
Applicable to all employees of the organization.
Effect
This will be implement from 01st September 2015.
Working hours
All employees shall work for six days a week starting from Monday to Saturday.
The working hours will be according to the Tabulation below with Lunch break of half an hour.

Attendance recording
Every employee of the organization shall use attendance register to mark their attendance daily.
Registering In time and out time is mandatory. In case of absence of either in time or out time it will be treated as Loss of Pay.
All employees going on Duty shall apply OD in the specified slip failing which he/she will be marked “LOP” for such days. In case an employee goes on duty after punching in, he/she shall apply on duty for rest of the day failing which he/she will be marked “LOP” for second half of the day.

Attendance once recorded and leave deducted cannot be reversed under any circumstances.
All attendance regularization shall be done with in the calendar month. Any addition/Deletion/Alteration suggested after the payroll is run shall not be entertained by the HR.
In case of loss of the Cards or accessories, the employee shall inform the HR and pay the following:
Rs. 300/- Access Card,
Rs. 150/- ID Card,
Rs.25/- Tag,
Rs.10/- Holder
Late coming
Three times up to 10 minutes late are allowed in a month.
If an employee comes late for the fourth time the employee cannot avail the benefit of allowed late coming. In such a case, the time lost due to late, will be deducted from the monthly salary of an employee on actual basis.
If an employee avails 3 times allowed late coming for 3 months consecutively, he will be considered as “Habitual Late comer” and action by HR as initiated is deemed fit.
When an employee works late at night, he can not avail neither compensatory off nor late coming in the next day morning. All employees should follow the office timings.
Short Leave
Two times up to 1 hour permission are allowed in a month.
If an employee takes less than 1 hour permission, it will be considered as one hour permission.
If an employee takes one hour permission and reports duty after lapse of one hour permission, the time lost beyond one hour permission the difference of time will be treated as late coming deduction.
If the permission is taken on unavoidable circumstances, the employee can take one hour permission through telephone and apply it on Leave at the earliest.
On Duty
Employees going out of station or outside work location for official purpose, should apply ONDUTY.
Apply & Communicate OD to HR Department before the employee proceeds on duty.
If the employee forgets to apply OD such days shall be treated Loss of Pay.
If the employee is going out for lunch or to other offices locally, it has to be mentioned in the movement register maintained by the Reception area.
Compensatory off
All employees are eligible for compensatory off if he/she works on holiday or Sunday. Such accumulated compensatory off would be lapsed after 90 days if unutilized.
Employees, who are planning to work on a holiday or on Sunday, should get prior approval from HR through his superior. Absence of prior permission, the employee can not avail the benefit of compensatory off.
Half day compensatory off is eligible for minimum of four hours of work, one day compensatory off is eligible for minimum of Eight hours of work including lunch.
The utilization of compensatory off should be planned in advance along with the HOD (Department Head not below the level of Station Manager) without affecting the work.
Over time is not applicable to any employee.
